        Take a step back in time when you visit the best-kept secret in Western Pennsylvania! Just 30 minutes north of Pittsburgh, and 10 minutes south of Kittanning, we offer a country escape close to city life.

        Our 164-acre campus is filled with ancient oaks; evergreens; a pavilion; nature trails; and even a lake for fishing and twilight campfires.

        We offer 25 individually-decorated single and double rooms in our quaint dormitory, begun by the students in the 1940s. One guest said that coming to BLI is like a visit to Grandma’s house! You will be warmly welcomed, and encouraged to feel right at home.

        Our dining hall will accommodate 100 at tables of six or eight. Use our fully-equipped kitchen and cook indoors, or enjoy an outdoor barbecue on the patio or under the majestic oaks.

        A variety of meeting rooms are available, as well as classrooms and a spacious library. Two large lounges each have TVs and cable; our downstairs lounge has a beautiful fireplace. Wi-fi is available.

        Rates are $25.00 per person per night for overnight accommodation. Our kitchen, dining hall, classrooms, and library can also be rented for your event.
